Training is one of the most valuable assets any skilled craftsman could have. After the attending a five year accredited apprenticeship program, our members enjoy additional training to help further their careers and give them the competitive edge to be the highest skilled workforce in the world. Additional training offered to our members includes OSHA safety classes, Medical Gas Installer, and Foreman training. In addition to these classes, members are encouraged to come to our state of the art training facility and improve or maintain their skills.
After completion of the five year apprenticeship program or successfully passing the United Association STAR examination, members automatically receive 32 credits towards an Associates Degree at Washtenaw Community College that they can complete online. Ferris State College also offers members a means to continue their education and further their career with online courses towards getting a Bachelors Degree.
